General Registration Information


Spring 2026 Season - Important Dates
 
November 3rd - Spring 2026 Registration Opens
 
November 15th - Last Day of Fall 2025 Season
 
January 8th - On time registration closed; late registration opens
 
February 28th - Tentative start date for U4-U14
 
March 28th - Tentative start date for U15-U19
 
May1st - Registration opens for Fall 2026/Spring 2027

Spring 2026 Registration Fees -  

Under 4 Tiny Tykes:   $130 - An exciting 8 week program that teaches basic soccer skills, while focusing on motor skill development, balance, coordination, teamwork, and so much more! 

Under 5 Play to Learn Skills League:   $145 - An exciting 8 week program that focuses on skill lessons and then shifts to scrimmage games for players to understand how to play the game. 

Under 6 - Under 11:   $170 (includes the $25 late fee) - Includes jersey shirt, 10 games, with 1 practice and 1 game per week, weather permitting.

Under 12 - Under 19:  $175 (includes the $25 late fee) - Includes 10 games, with 1 practice and 1 game per week (weather permitting); Jersey NOT included. 


*Late registrations will include a $25 late fee and are subject to availability.
*Families that register 3 or more players within the immediate family may receive a $30 discount for every registration beyond the second player.
 You may use code 3RDSIB2026 when registering for the Spring only
*Refund requests must be provided in writing or verified with the office staff. Requests made prior to the end of the regular registration period are not subjected to fees. Refunds made prior to the start of games will be processed minus a $50 administration fee. Jersey and late fees are non-refundable.


Registrations must include the following items:
* Completed registration form.
* Birth Certificate required for new players. A copy of birth certificate may be uploaded into the GotSport player profile, emailed or brought to office for verification.
* Full registration fee.


How Players are Placed on Teams

*Players are assigned to teams based on age, availability, team demand, common schools attended, and the geographic proximity of the residences of other players on a team.
*
Returning players will be placed on their previous team unless a request has been made to return to the player pool.
*If a returning player registers late, the placement on his or her previous team is subject to availability.
*Requests for specific teams, other than the team that the player played on the previous season, will not be considered for returning players unless the player has not played in the past 2 consecutive seasons.
*All requests are subject to review by the appropriate executive board member.


Age Chart

WHO WILL COACH

Coaches at CFBSA are volunteers. In most cases, the coach will be the parent of a player on the team. If your player is placed on a team that does not currently have a coach, the association will attempt to find a coach from the families of the players on the team.

Jersey Information

Under 4 & Under 5 Program:
Jerseys are included with registration and are provided by the league. You will be prompted to choose a uniform size when registering your player. 

Under 6 - Under 11:
Jerseys are included with registration and are provided by the league. You will be prompted to choose a uniform size when registering your player. 

Under 12 - Under 19:
Uniforms are procured by the coach or the manager at the team level. A separate fee is required.

About Practices

Practice location, time and frequency are held at the discretion of the head coach of each team.

About the Games

Under 4 & Under 5 Program:   8

Under 6 - Under 19:   10
*The number of games played are subject to the weather and field conditions throughout the season.


Where Games Will be Played
*The location of the playing venues may be found on the Field Locations & Layouts page.

*Playing venues are subject to change prior to the start of the season as deemed necessary by CFBSA due to possible changes in agreements between CFBSA and various playing partners.
*Teams that participate in leagues that play with partners outside of CFBSA will be required to travel outside of the Carrollton-Farmers Branch area for up to half of their matches.

*Under 4 and Under 5 sessions should expect to be held on Carrollton fields.
*Under 6 through Under 8 teams should expect to play all of their games in Carrollton. Exceptions for some age groups may be made as necessary if there is not a sufficient number of teams formed in an age group to form a local league.
*Under 9 through Under 19 teams will play their games in the Carrollton-Farmers Branch area as well as the neighboring cities of Lewisville, Corinth, Flower Mound, Highland Village, Coppell, The Colony, Little Elm and Denton. It may be necessary to travel to the Mid-Cities and Fort Worth area if there is not a sufficient number of teams to for a league in the area.


Field Locations & Layouts

Financial Assistance Program

We are no longer accepting applications

*Completed applications and documentation must be received no later than July 11, 2025.

CFBSA offers financial assistance to qualifying families from the Carrollton-Farmers Branch area, to help children participate with CFBSA and enjoy the game of soccer regardless of their ability to pay. In order to apply for financial assistance, you will be required to provide the information below.

1. Completed Application for Financial Assistance (Provided upon request from the CFBSA office or via email.)
2. Income Documentation (Copy of most recent income tax return with W-2 stubs & 2 recent check stubs.)
3. Residency Documentation (Copy of most recent utility bill & a copy of mortgage or lease.)
4. Registration Paperwork (Registration can be done in person at the CFBSA office, or submitted electronically.)

Jersey Sizing

The sizing charts below are intended as a general guide to assist families in selecting the most appropriate size for their player for the CFBSA uniform program. If you are in doubt of your players size you may visit the CFBSA office for samples of uniforms to examine.
